Description

Who it is for and how it works

OnkoRadar Max Risk is Wellysa's flagship product, designed for people with the highest testing needs, including those with both a family and a personal history of cancer. The service is available regardless of ethnic origin. The patient may have a personal history of cancer but must not be in an active phase of the disease and treatment.

The package covers the full range of cancer prevention available at NZOZ Wellysa (a non-public healthcare facility):

  • Genogram analysis: taking into account the personal and family history of cancer.
  • Genetic test using NGS for 22 key high-risk genes: APC, ATM, BMPR1A, BRCA1, BRCA2, CDH1, CDKN2A, CHEK2, EPCAM, MLH1, MUTYH, MSH2, MSH6, NBN, PALB2, PTEN, PMS2, RAD51C, RAD51D, SMAD4, STK11, TP53.
  • Additional MLPA tests for the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes.
  • Analysis of 3 elements (selenium, arsenic, zinc): important environmental and dietary factors.
  • A specialist preventive medical report discussing the results, with individual recommendations.
  • Every result showing a high cancer risk is discussed in detail during a teleconsultation with a professor who is a cancer geneticist, which lets you ask questions and better understand the individual preventive recommendations and further tests prepared for you.

The genetic test is done once in a lifetime, and further prevention is based on personalised recommendations.

Preparing for the test

The genetic test does not require any special preparation.

The trace elements test requires an elimination diet for the 3 days before the test: do not eat fish, seafood, rice or rice products. Also avoid fish oils and omega-3 supplements (cod liver oil and similar), and stop any other dietary supplements containing zinc, selenium or arsenic.

On the day of the test, arrive fasting and stay well hydrated (drink only water; avoid coffee and tea).

    Pay in full or in three instalments with Klarna. The package is added to your profile in the app.

    Add results or take the tests

    Do you have recent results (up to 12 months old)? Add them from your IKP (Polish online patient account), a printout or a photo, and the package price goes down. Any missing tests are done at a laboratory: just show the code from the app.

    Receive your results and report

    You'll see your results and a report with recommendations in the app. The assistant suggests your next steps.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to give blood?

No. If you have recent results (up to 12 months old), you can add them to the app: from your Polish online patient account (IKP), from a printout or from a photo. You'll do any missing tests at a laboratory. Tests you already have lower the price of the package.

Where do I do the missing tests?

At a partner laboratory. After your purchase, you choose a collection point and a time in the app, and at reception you show the code from the app. Come fasting, preferably in the morning.

When and where will I see my results?

In the app, as soon as the laboratory has processed them. We'll let you know, and your results will come with a report and recommendations. The result is for information only and does not replace a consultation with a doctor.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. When paying, choose Klarna and spread the amount over three instalments. You can see the instalment amount next to the price of each package, and the instalment terms are set by Klarna.
